Board of Assessors approves three property value reductions.

LONGMEADOW — Board of Assessors approves $2.3 million in combined property value corrections. The five-member board unanimously accepted Principal Assessor Maria T. Cataldo's recommendations on three assessments: a $42,800 reduction at 88 Franklin Road in advance of an Appellate Tax Board hearing; a $34,067 abatement for Cardtronics personal property assets incorrectly sited in East Longmeadow; and a major $2,269,891 reduction at 594 Converse Street (Heritage Academy), which had been assessed at $3.12 million despite including only 42 percent of a property straddling Springfield lines.

All votes passed unanimously.
