Longmeadow Board of Health unanimously directs school no-idling letter. Dr. Elliott Greenberg moved and Chair Dr.
Robert Baevsky seconded the action directing Health Director Ryan Paxton to draft a letter to school leadership about state no-idling law enforcement at Williams Middle School, prompted by residents Bill and Terry DeGiulio's complaints about vehicle emissions during student drop-off and pickup. The board also discussed adopting a Nicotine Free Generation ordinance banning nicotine product sales to anyone born January 2004 or later, scheduled a future public comment session, and declined to opt out of state cannabis delivery legislation at this time.
