Building Use Task Force plans summer forums on municipal reuse

LONGMEADOW — The Future Building Use Task Force unanimously approved a community engagement plan to gather resident input on the potential reuse of three municipal buildings through public forums and an online survey. The seven-member board, including Paul Dunkerley, Leonard Shaker, Sara Gregg, Earl Godfrey, Antoinette Mongillo, Jane Crosby, and Martin Boyle, set summer public forums at the Adult Center on July 15, Town Hall on August 19, and the High School on September 12. The Task Force also approved posting facility-cost matrices, staffing and capital plan synopses, and a frequently asked questions page to its website, and unanimously agreed to send Paul Dunkerley's letter to all Department Heads requesting information on current and potential building uses.
Associate Planner Dean Syed will provide planning and zoning details at the June 24 meeting.
