LONGMEADOW — Conservation Commission approves Wolf Swamp dumping gate and Grinspoon land offer. Chair John Bresnahan moved the Commission to authorize not more than $4,000 from the Wetlands Protection Fund for a gate at Wolf Swamp Field's southeastern end, passing 6-0 by roll call. The same chair also advanced a $250,000 offer for the approximately 14-acre Grinspoon property along Mill Road, which passed 4-0-2 with Chasen and Bontempo abstaining; the Commission approved applying for Community Preservation Act funding.

Members deferred votes on the June minutes and the DCR Gasek Management Plan to allow further review.
