Longmeadow Conservation Commission defers key votes while advancing railroad crossing safety study. Chair John Bresnahan convened the March 11 meeting without a quorum, tabling votes on an Eagle Scout knotweed removal project and a tree removal application, both continued to April. AECOM representatives outlined a two-year MassDOT study of railroad safety at Meadow Road and Bark Haul Road, with involvement from U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Services, the Allen Bird Club, and Friends of Fannie Stebbins. Conservation Agent Leah Wallner reported the Longmeadow Country Club submitted an Environmental Notification Form for pond dredging work.
