Council on Aging Board Leaves Officer Positions Open

LONGMEADOW — Council on Aging Board leaves all three officer positions vacant. The nominating committee reported no board members volunteered for Chair, Vice Chair, or Secretary, with a slate of candidates due by June. Health Director Ryan Paxton briefed the board on regional public health services including disease surveillance and blood pressure screening.
The board scheduled upcoming events including a Plant Swap on May 14, an Adult Center five-year celebration on November 4, Earth Day cleanup on April 18, and a paper shredding event April 25.
