Council on Aging votes to raise non-resident pickleball fee

Longmeadow Council on Aging raises pickleball fee, previews dementia program. The Council on Aging Board of Directors voted to increase the non-resident pickleball fee from $4.00 to $5.00, keeping the $3.00 resident rate unchanged. The Adult Center will launch a new GUIDE dementia-support program in April, serving seniors with dementia and their caregivers in partnership with GSSSI.

The FY27 budget remains level-funded with repair-related increases, and all three officer positions remain open on the nominating slate, with candidates expected by June.
