Longmeadow hosts first EHSPHS advisory meeting, elects leadership. The Eastern Hampden Shared Public Health Services Advisory Group held its inaugural January 14 meeting and elected Health Director Ryan Paxton as chair and Jennifer Wolowicz as co-chair. The four-town collaborative (Longmeadow, Hampden, Wilbraham, Monson) operates under a roughly $393,000 FY26 budget and discussed future funding challenges if state Public Health Excellence grant support expires after FY27.

The group approved Longmeadow as the official posting location for future meetings and agreed to convene twice yearly, but only when substantial business requires it.
