LONGMEADOW — Future Building Use Task Force advances building evaluation work. The task force unanimously approved prior April meeting minutes with nine members present and moved forward with its assessment of municipal buildings, with Chair Paul Dunkerly introducing a strategic categories proposal developed by members Ryan McCollum and David Lipke. The task force scheduled its next meeting for May 27, 2026, with Dunkerly and member Sara Gregg directed to develop community information materials and Dunkerly tasked with drafting a letter to town department heads requesting building use information.
Research presentations covered adaptive reuse practices, municipal facility assessments, and property signage requirements.
