Historic District Commission approves time capsule memorial
Longmeadow Historic District Commission approves 250th anniversary time capsule for Town Green. The commission unanimously backed the Rev250 Task Force's plan to bury the capsule behind the War Memorial, to be opened at the nation's 300th anniversary, with a stone marker indicating its burial date.

Longmeadow Historic District Commission approves 250th anniversary time capsule for Town Green. The commission unanimously backed the Rev250 Task Force's plan to bury the capsule behind the War Memorial, to be opened at the nation's 300th anniversary, with a stone marker indicating its burial date. The same body also unanimously approved two property applications: installation of four lamp post lights at 690 Longmeadow Street at eight to 10 feet in height, and relocation of deck stairs at 977 Longmeadow Street.
All three applications passed without opposition.
