Historic District Commission approves Town Arboretum on the Green

LONGMEADOW — The Longmeadow Historic District Commission voted unanimously to approve a Town Green arboretum. Tree Warden Leah Grigorov and Tree Committee member Kathy Kucab presented the project, which will feature approximately 20 to 25 trees with QR code information plaques and has Community Preservation Committee funding contingent on HDC approval. The commission also unanimously appointed Member Jane Crosby to serve on a town task force reviewing long-term improvements to Town Hall and the Community House.
