Planning Board Approves Site and Design Review Decision

LONGMEADOW — Planning Board approves Site and Design Review decision on Williams Street property. The Board voted unanimously to approve the decision for Case #2025-0205-01 at 916 Williams Street after entering executive session to discuss anticipated litigation relative to the case. Town Counsel Jay Talerman clarified that recent court rulings prohibit the primary use of homes for operating short-term rentals in all Longmeadow zoning districts, with the Building Department authorized to enforce the restriction.
The Board also discussed how to handle Site and Design Review for the town's first received accessory dwelling unit building permit application.
