LONGMEADOW — The Longmeadow Planning Board approved a 900-square-foot accessory dwelling unit at 523 Laurel Street and reelected Bruce Colton as chair. The ADU application by Thomas Libbos was approved unanimously with conditions, contingent on Zoning Board of Appeals approval and requiring the applicant to minimize tree and vegetation loss. The board continued a public hearing for a larger project at 21 Dwight Rd, a proposed 7,246-square-foot medical office and 13,067-square-foot daycare facility by Longmeadow Medical Arts Center, LLC, requesting a revised lighting plan; the motion passed 4-1, with Cheryl Thibodeau opposed.
Bryant Miller was reelected as clerk.
