Longmeadow Planning Board rejects recommendation for side-yard solar zoning amendment. All five members voted unanimously against recommending Citizen Petition #2026-1 to Annual Town Meeting, which would have allowed solar panels in side yards of residence zones. Curt Freedman presented the proposal at a public hearing with no public attendance.
In other business, the board unanimously approved a waiver for Frankie's Pizza at 809 Maple Rd to replace a small cooler.
