The commission confirmed an April 25 shredding event at Longmeadow High School, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., organized by Valley Green with all members volunteering; Arlene Miller and Mark Gold were tasked with seeking local bank sponsorship. The commission agreed to pursue a "library of things" program partnership with Storrs Library through a DEP grant application, with Susan Shepherd volunteering to follow up.
