Select Board appoints Maynard-DeWolf to budget task force

Longmeadow Select Board names Shelly Maynard-DeWolf to oversee new Town Manager Budget Task Force. Vice Chair Maynard-DeWolf was unanimously appointed in a 4-0 vote. The Board also unanimously approved a commemorative letter for the 250th Anniversary Time Capsule.
Town Manager Lyn Simmons received an overwhelmingly positive FY2026 annual performance evaluation from the Board. Ratification of the Police Chief contract for FY2027 through FY2030 was tabled for the next scheduled meeting.
