Longmeadow Select Board unanimously approves environmental purchasing policy, sets new cart fees. The board voted five to zero on two separate motions regarding trash and recycling pricing, with Vice Chair Shelly Maynard-DeWolf making both motions and Dan Zwirko seconding. The board also unanimously appointed Luis Capellan to the Joint Transportation Committee alternate position and referred zoning bylaw amendments to the Planning Board.
Superintendent Marty O'Shea presented the school department's FY2027 budget while the Massachusetts School Building Authority approved a $3,762,665 roof replacement grant for the school with a 90-day commitment deadline.
