LONGMEADOW — Select Board extends Town Manager Simmons' contract to 2029, appoints seven to boards. The Longmeadow Select Board unanimously ratified a three-year employment contract extension for Town Manager Lyn Simmons running through June 30, 2029, citing her high performance evaluations. The board appointed seven residents to three-year terms on various boards and commissions, including Michelle Keene Moore (Board of Health), Andrea Chasen (Conservation Commission), Judy DeLong (Council on Aging), Amie Block (Historical Commission), Elizabeth Bone (Recycling Commission), Emily Anderson and Elaine D'Alleva-Vehse (Historic District Commission), and Cecilia Walker and Richard Nydell (Board of Registrars).
The board also approved Fletcher's BBQ's mobile food vendor permit and accepted the September primary warrant.
