Longmeadow Little League's summer travel all-star teams are in the middle of their July slate, with a 12U squad also chasing a run toward the Little League World Series.
LONGMEADOW -- Longmeadow Little League's Summer All-Star travel teams are competing this month at the 9U, 10U and 11U levels, according to the league's website. The league's 12U team is also playing as part of the Little League World Series All-Star track, which the site says includes regional tournament play with the opportunity to advance to Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Longmeadow's travel teams compete within District 2, which also includes Agawam, Amherst, Belchertown, Easthampton, Gateway, Holyoke, Northampton, Southampton and Westfield, per the league's site. Games are being played across the district's field network, including Longmeadow's own DiPippo, Greenwood Park, Williams Middle School and Blueberry Hill School sites, along with venues in Belchertown, Easthampton, Northampton, Southampton, Westfield and Agawam. The league enters the summer having won the 2025 District 2 championship at the 10U level, according to its website, part of a run of district and section titles dating back to 2021.
